Matt has a unique musical talent – a composer, lyricist, trumpet player AND singer — seamlessly blending elements of jazz with an R&B vibe… VERY danceable… (When’s the last time you could say that about a JAZZ TRUMPET video ??)
Lots of great creative fun working with Matt and Kristin and the crew… Looking forward to more collaborations.

Lyle Mays and friends explore music based on physics equations, Feynman’s speech patterns and more, using improvisation, algorithmic composition, live video mixing, and a custom designed linked laptop network while Jon 9 performs live video mixing on a souped-up Hippotizer… Part of the TedX CalTech event in Pasadena, CA in 2011.

HOLONYNE TECHNOLOGY SHOWCASE:  HIPPOTIZERS

For the last four years I have been working with Hippotizer Media Servers from Green Hippo in London, distributed in the US by TMB.  There are lots of cool reasons (besides the name – who doesn’t want a green hippo ??) why I have used these servers in two major commercial installations and lots of art projects, nightclub gigs, and production scenarios.

In 2004 I created an HDTV video art show called FLO for broadcast on the first hi-def 24-hour satellite netowrk, VOOM / Cable Vision.

This piece, PROMETHEON, was our first show and features Courtney Marit displaying her art as a fire dancer and discussing her thoughts as a performer and artist.
